Luly Bestard Melarti VP- Architecture & Design My Story Melarti, a licensed architect, comes to the Reynolds team with an extensive architectural and design background in all aspects of residential design, development, and construction. After receiving a Masters of Architecture and an MBA with a concentration in real estate finance, Melarti went on to co-found a residential design-build company. She also served as a past development manager focusing on mixed-use development and an architect and planner at Perkins & Will, with a specialization in strategic facility planning. Currently, she is a trustee of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Northern New Jersey’s Architect League and a member of AIA New Jersey Equity in Architecture. Sam Magalnik Director - Asset Management My Story Sam joins RAM with over eight years of experience in asset management, specializing in U.S. multifamily real estate. He has managed large, complex apartment portfolios on behalf of institutional and sophisticated ownership groups in Canada, where he was responsible for executing strategic business plans, optimizing asset performance, and driving long-term value. Sam played a key role in delivering detailed financial analysis and reporting to senior leadership and key stakeholders, providing insights that informed investment decisions and supported ownership objectives across the portfolio. Throughout his career, Sam has led end-to-end budgeting and financial reporting processes, overseen multimillion-dollar capital improvement projects, and implemented targeted revenue management strategies. He has successfully rolled out key initiatives aimed at maximizing rental income, improving operational efficiency, and enhancing resident satisfaction. In addition, Sam has leveraged property technology platforms and business intelligence tools to streamline reporting, monitor KPIs in real time, and support data-driven decision making across his portfolios. He brings a strong track record of aligning operational execution with ownership goals and consistently delivering measurable results. Sam holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Alberta and an MBA with a specialization in Real Estate and Infrastructure from the Schulich School of Business in Toronto. Mammad Shahbazov VP - Asset Management My Story Mammad joined Reynolds Asset Management in 2021 as Associate Director of Acquisitions & Asset Management. He is primarily responsible for market analysis, underwriting, and research for the acquisition of new assets, as well as preparing financial models and marketing materials for new ventures. Prior to joining Reynolds Asset Management, Mammad worked with a NYC based development group, where he prepared financial models for real estate acquisitions of multi-family assets, completing transactions with a combined value of $120 million. Mammad is a graduate of New York University with an M.S. in Real Estate Development and University of Connecticut with a B.S. in Economics.
